Gospel Speaking
We are Gospel Speaking because we believe that the proclamation of the Gospel is the only hope for mankind.
“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” (Romans 10:14, ESV)
Community Transforming
The gospel transfigures our lives and relationships because Christ makes us new people and renews us. His transformative work breaks down the barriers the prevent fellowship with Him and with others.
“That which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.” (1 John 1:3, ESV)
Neighbor Loving
New Life in Christ makes us those who long to be more like Him. We are motivated and empowered to consider others more important than ourselves - to act toward others as our Savior did – serving others and sharing with them the good news of the gospel.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37–39, ESV)
Downtown Building - We at Riverside Church are so excited that we have been able to purchase an old historic church in downtown Beaumont. We will be renovating and restoring this beautiful church. Our prayer is that God will use this picture of restoration as a reminder of His ongoing work to us and our community and that this building will become a place of worship and ministry that glorifies His name.
